How can we help?

There are a few reasons an article might not convert:

• The page may be behind a paywall that Earpocket can't access
• The content might be too short (less than 100 words)
• The page might not be a standard article format

Try refreshing the page and clicking the Earpocket button again. If the issue persists, you can paste the article text directly.

When you first use Earpocket, you'll receive a unique feed URL. To add it to your podcast app:

• Apple Podcasts: Library → Add a Show by URL → Paste your feed URL
• Overcast: + button → Add URL → Paste your feed URL
• Pocket Casts: Search → Paste your feed URL

Your feed URL is saved in the extension—click the Earpocket icon to see it.

Spotify doesn't support custom RSS feeds, which is how Earpocket delivers audio to podcast apps. We recommend using Apple Podcasts, Overcast, Pocket Casts, or any other app that supports RSS feeds.

Audio files are stored for 90 days from the date of creation. If you listen to an article again within that period, the timer resets. This ensures your recent articles are always available while keeping storage costs manageable.

The Earpocket browser extension is currently available for Chrome and Firefox on desktop. However, once articles are in your podcast feed, you can listen to them on any device using your podcast app of choice.

Earpocket is free to use with generous limits. Most users will never hit any limits. If you're a heavy user or publisher looking for higher limits, please contact us at [email protected].

To delete your Earpocket data, email us at [email protected] with your feed URL (found in the extension popup). We'll delete all associated audio files and data within 30 days.
